17Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Just as the Hebrew language shows God more full in the Old Testament, the same is true for the New Testament. The Greek language that it was first written in reveals God in the unique way He wants us to know Him- as a Holy Trinity. God knows Greek very well, as He does all languages. As more and more scripture is revealed to us in the original languages God first spoke to mankind with, the full revelation of who God is comes into full revelation. We can know for sure who God is! He is a Holy Triune God!3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
Jesus
is also the light, through the Holy Spirit (the Third Person of the
Trinity of God), who shines to bring us out of the darkness of
disbelief, and into understanding and belief of His glory and majesty.
18No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known
Really look at verse 18 above. Do you fully understand what John is saying? Can you see John is declaring Jesus is God? Can you see John is revealing the Trinity of God?
If you believe in the Trinity,
could you use your entire Bible, to show the
evidence throughout scripture, and explain it to a non-believing loved
one or friend? Could you find the Old Testament verses that declare
the God of the Bible is a Holy Trinity? The Bible declares God is one,
but yet a Trinity. He is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit
It is imperative, in order to know the one true God of the Bible, to
absolutely know for sure that all of the verses above are revealing the exact same absolute truth about God.
It is vital we fully understand that what John writes in scripture
above DOES NOT CONTRADICT in any way what the other two Old Testament verses revealed about God... written thousands of years before the apostle John was even born.
In the book, "I SEE HIM...I SEE HIM!" God's WORD to Witness By... you will see how and why the Apostle John in chapter 1 of his book, verses 48: 16-17 in the book of the prophet Isaiah, Deuteronomy 6: 4, and Genesis 1:1 are all revealing the exact same truth about God. You
will see this and much more as we look at all of the evidence for the
absolute truth of the Bible. You will see God in everything we observe
in science, nature, the universe, and God's Holy "WORD". You will see
God's love for everyone.
Through our understanding of God's revelation to man about the Trinity, you will comprehend what God has revealed to all who can see, we are created in God's image and likeness. God revealed who man is in the very first chapter of the Bible. Look at these words God spoke:
Genesis 1: 26 -27 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
Can you see what God is revealing in the verses above? Here is a hint: why does God use the word"us" in verse 26, as if He is speaking to maybe angels or some other non-terrestrial beings, and then clearly states in verse 27 we are made in His own image? Verse 27 clearly reveals we are made in the image of God and that we are not made in the image of an angel. In actuality, verse 26 and verse 27 of chapter one in Genesis are saying and revealing the exact same truth. Only by reading, studying, and understanding more of God's word can we know what God is revealing. We can take what God reveals to man as literal in Genesis 1: 27! We are made in God's image and therefore every human being is also a tripartite (three-in-one being).
It is exactly what the Apostle Paul fully reveals in a different way thousands of years later
under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit when he writes this blessing
that is spoken in churches all around the world still today.
1 Thessalonian 5: 3 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
Through the writings of Paul above, God explains exactly what He first revealed to mankind in Genesis 1: 26 and 27. Man would never be complete without being made in God's image. We need our spirit, our soul, and our body to make us one complete entity. My physical body is so united as one unit with my soul and spirit, I cannot distinguish them as separate parts. I can only sense my spirit, my soul, and my body as one entity...and it the same way for you. Each individual can sense his or her own body, but the soul and spirit is deep within each of us and hidden from our senses. This is one of the reasons why atheist and agnostics cannot see God! Only when we enter God's perfect light can we know absolutely for certain we have a soul and a spirit that is vastly more important than our outer shell- our body. Our current body is steadily wearing out and will some day die, but our soul and spirit will live on forever. This will happen for every living person whether you believe in Jesus Christ or not.
Daniel 12: 2 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
When we believe the truth of God, our spirit is quickened by the Holy Spirit (God-the Third Person of the Trinity) and our spirit becomes fully alive. It is important for us to absolutely know this: we need the Holy Spirit, living in our own spirit, if we are ever to see and live with God forever. Science will never be able to explain where the spirit of man or the soul of man comes from- only God can. God's "WORD" reveals all truth.
Hebrews 4: 12 12 For the word of God is
living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and
is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Please spend time on this web-site and see why Ken Kreh has written
this important book. Find out why you should have this book in your
home as a reference to give evidence from the Bible
to your loved ones and friends to have faith. Many times, when the Jehovah Witnesses or the Mormons come calling at my door, I invite them in and I use my Bible and "I See Him!...I See Him!" book together to share my reasons to believe Jesus is God, not just a good human being or a god amongst many gods as theses two religions believe. I can locate the points in the book I want to share along with the verse from scripture I need to give them, and then we can turn to the Bible to read directly from God's word. We then can have a discussion with each other about God and what it truly means to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We can show followers of these two religions, when they come knocking, why we believe the Bible is the only writing that we requre to truly know God. We will not have to lock our doors and act like we are not home when we see them coming.
The author wants to reach out to those who are looking for a reason to believe in God. He wants to help train others to be able to use the Bible...All of it (especially the Old Testament) to share Jesus Christ with others. So we all can spend eternity together with the one true God of the Bible...the God of love. Do it in love. Do it in gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3: 15 15But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect
The author also wants you to place all of your faith in God and and the Bible, not what Ken has written. Test everything the author writes with what God reveals to you in the Bible and by His Holy Spirit. God is absolute truth and man's thinking can be flawed. The author will never stray from this one simple truth:
John 3: 16 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Enjoy and God bless you!
