The Antichrist in the book of Revelation?
I have been spending time on Topix: Christian Forum for the past month now. One of the threads I have been posting on is "The Trinity of God. I have had some hard fought battles with skeptics who twist the word of God, read books that deny the Bible as true, and listen to the theologians who deny scripture also.
In the Trinity of God thread, the posts have turned to the book of Revelation and the "Antichrist". Again they twist the truth in a way that can deceive you from the truth. To protect oneself from the on slot of anti-bible teachings, it is imperative we study the word of God that strengthens our faith...not weakens our faith. NEVER LET A SKEPTIC DECEIVE YOU!
I had to answer this post on the antichrist on this forum:
This is correct: the term "antichrist" is not in the book of Revelation, but Satan is. You are wrong in so much of what you believe.
Satan is called the dragon in the book of Revelation and He is at war with Father God, the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit- our one true Triune God.
The Dragon (satan) gives his power to the "beast" and many worship the beast (this is the antichrist of the book of Revelation.). Many will be deceived and will worship the beast.
This beast will imitate Jesus Christ and appear to come back to life as Jesus truly did...Satan is such a copycat (he does this to twist and deceive you.).
Can you see what the dragon is doing? He is imitating "THE TRINITY OF GOD"!
This is plain to see with the introduction of another beast..WHO MAKES all the world WORSHIP the first beast who was wounded.
Christians have Father God, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is wooing us to worship the Son, and by doing so....honor Father God.
Those who will follow Satan...have the dragon (Satan imitating God the Father), the beast that is wounded and healed (imitating Jesus Christ), and the second beast (who is the imitation the Holy Spirit)...WHO FORCES EVERYONE TO WORSHIP THE BEAST THAT WAS WOUNDED and thus...worshiping the dragon (SATAN HIMSELF)!!!
Worship the beast or die is what scripture reveals of this fake imitation of the one true Trinity the followers of Jesus Christ trust in.

Who is the Antichrist of this World?
The apostle John explains it very well to us:
God loves you and so do I!
